Lesson One

What is Metaphysical Ethics?

Hi. I am glad you decided to continue.  I want to go back to the first paragraph in the introduction.   Let's start with the first sentence. "In the understanding of ‘Metaphysical Ethics’ there is a rational philosophical subject or system to the matter, independent of intuition, that asks whether metaphysical elements are required."

First, what is the definition of metaphysics?
Metaphysics is a branch of philosophy. As a noun, metaphysics examines the relationship between mind and matter. Your mind plus your physical self or being. A person or being that studies metaphysics (or the metaphysical aspects of life) is termed a metaphysician.  Thus, you are entering the scholarly world of metaphysicians.  You have heard the saying, " the mind over body".  What they are saying  is that if you can think it you can do it. Thus, "Beyond the body is the mind".

The second word is Ethics. Ethics is a set of principles or conduct followed by moral values.  These values comprise of the choices, rules, standards, or behavior followed by members within the encompassed space.  The encompassed space can be a home, city, state, territory, or planet.  In theory all that agree that the conduct within the group of members is of morality for the benefit of all.  Thus, the moral philosophy must be for the sanctity of the group.  One that does not follow the moral behavior is termed unmoral.  These individuals are then reprimanded or expelled from the population.  Thus, keeping the morality of the group intact.  Thus, the term metaphysical ethics is a philosophy injected into a system.

Secondly, understanding that metaphysical ethics involves 'independent of intuition'. Your intuition is to know the morality of your own self and if it is in line with the morality of the group. Thus, knowing thyself, is important in morality.  And asking thyself if the system by which you are following is in the metaphysical ethics of your being. Your intuition is yours and yours alone, and by asking thyself if the morality of the group lies within or outside your intuitive nature is the most important question. It is your right to know the morality of the system. Your intuition can guide you in determining if the morality of the system and if it is going the right direction.

You can start by understanding the metaphysical elements required and asked of you within the system. The direction, current, or flow must align with the universe.  Why you ask, because to go against the current of the universe is undoing what you have achieved in your soul's position in the universe. We will discuss the metaphysical elements in the next lesson.

Thirdly, what you can do to move the universe in a positive way and not coat-tail yourself along.  You are an important being and your soul carries the universe in a direction toward the greater of all.  Your mind, body, and soul in this dimension is of most important.  You have heard you are what you eat.  Well your soul's energy carries in what you do or not do. Your choices in life is important in knowing if you are aligned with the universe.

Lastly, it is important to know if the system is aligned with the necessary knowledge in determining the balance of justice.  A system that is ethically or morally aligned righteously has an ethical duty to do what is consciously right and has a ‘righteousness duty’ to take action. Judicial matters take in the morality of the system.  And your ethical duty to know what is right or wrong and it is the responsibility of the soul.
